Newbie!

Hello everyone! I'm new to the group, and thought I'd swipe the little questionnaire and fill it out form-style. =)

-Name- Lisa
-Age- 29
-Location- Vancouver, WA (NOT Canada!!!)

-Favorite Bands- Non-Christian: Alter Bridge, The Mayfield Four, Skid Row, David Bowie, Creed, Heart, just about any band that was popular on MTV in 1989 or 1990. Christian: Todd Agnew, Skillet, Petra, Plumb, Jeremy Camp, Day of Fire, Shane & Shane, Building 429. Third Day is starting to grow on me.

-Favorite Singers- Aside from the singers of the above bands, I really love to listen to a couple of the worship leaders at my church (www.livinghopechurch.com). Danny and Dave can SING! Danny did a KILLER Jeremy Camp cover a few months back (One Day At A Time - it was SO rockin'!!), Myles Kennedy

-Favorite Song(s)- Oh man, way too many to name them all. "Wasted Time" by Skid Row, White Flag" by The Mayfield Four, "Crazy For You" by Madonna, "Burn It Down" "Shed My Skin" by Alter Bridge (really, anything that Myles sings...he sings for AB and sang for MF), "Gunning Down Romance" by Savage Garden, "Lord, I Lift Your Name on High" by Petra, "Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee" when done by Passion Worship Band, "Everybody Praise the Lord" when done by my church band, "Take My Life" or "One Day at a Time" by Jeremy Camp, "Grace Like Rain" by Todd Agnew, "I Can't Do This" by Plumb, "It's Alright" or "Come Together" by Third Day, "In the Light" or "Jesus Freak" by dc talk....

I love music. Music is a HUGE part of my life, and I am so very thankful that there are GOOD Christian rock bands out there, because all of my life, I've loved rock music. I never knew, until this year, that Christian music didn't suck. =(

-Religious Background- Christian, plain & simple
